BACK TO NEWS HEADLINESHey, improvisers, fancy being part of devised dark-future dystopian circus show? Aircraft Circus, an established professional circus company, is venturing into the world of Secret Cinema/ Punchdrunk. We are looking for volunteers to help make this pilot performance work. The core of the show are a set of circus performers who are creating the show - a dystopic world of haves and have nots - played by the audience. What they are looking for is volunteers - ideally with improv experience - to be audience wranglers and to be part of the action - participating in things like riot scenes (if you are with the have nots) and exquisite cocktail parties (if you are with the haves). If you are interested please get in contact with Alex directly and you can email him at Alex@aircraftcircus.com Alex Frith (director) has worked in the West End on Lord of the Rings the musical, Matilda, The Play That Goes Wrong, A Comedy About A Robbery, and many large-scale circus productions internationally and creates his own work in-house. The commitment would be evenings in the last week of our rehearsal process. You'd have to be free on the evenings of July 11,12,13 (three tech nights), July 14 (preview), July 15 and 16 (the two shows). There will be some training involved and possibly some experience in harness work depending on the track and your capabilities. |
