This course is for performers, directors, facilitators, artists and learners from all walks of life with a previous experience of improvisation - be it with words, music, movement or any other means - keen to practice intensively in a safe and friendly space.

Alan will share his 30 years experience with you, bringing games and techniques you won't find anywhere else. He will help you expand in all direction as an improviser, be it with voice, character, dialogue and plot.

Alan Marriott has been teaching and performing for over thirty years both in Canada and Europe. He trained at the Vancouver TheatreSports League where he was taught by Keith Johnstone and is an alumnus of The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). His professional career spans improv, voice-overs (including Bob the Builder), writing, and stage, film and television.
